    CVA .32 Cal Squirrel gun

I have a CVA squirrel gun I purchased for my father in 1983. I purchased it from a store in upstate NY. At the time I remember that the set trigger in the kit is a non functional trigger. If you wanted an operational set trigger it needed to be ordered separately. I would love to use...

OK, I read the instructions and am trying JB Weld. It has a 15 hour curing time so we will shoot ot tomorrow and see. If this dosen't work I'll dovetail in a Uberettie one.

    Follow through

Dry firing 🔥 the first thing I noticed is I'm blinking when the lock starts moving. Now that's a horrible habit I need to break. Onwards we march.

    Follow through

Lots of great advice here. Don't forget I'm coming from USPSA. Our splits need to be under .03 of a second. We definitely don't "follow through " for 3 seconds. Call shots yes but you can't waste time on a target. Different type of competition requires different techniques. Trigger...

This is something to look at because I'm definitely hearing the lock function. I'm shooting Kibler so don't tell me I have a slow lock.lol

    Follow through

Ok so tell me how you hold the gun steady on target during recoil or "follow through "The gun is laying on palm or fingers not gripped. Is the right hand pulling the gun into shoulder? This is way different than shooting an AR.

    Follow through

I'm new to competing with a flintlock in NMLRA. Of course I'm having new shooter problems with follow through. Flinch, moving the muzzle before the ball leaved the barrel. So my question is what exactly Is "follow through " and how to train for it? 99% of NMLRA is offhand so this is what I need...

    Poo Poo Pietta #2

Well yet again my 1858 Pietta has let me down. Less than 50 rounds through the gun and the lock tab for the loading lever popped off when I shot it. The gun came fron Dixi Gun works and was listed as new. The gun must of been a demo model because the nipples and hammer had signs of dry firing. I...

A new $200 insurance delivery fee????????????

I contacted the Black Powder retailers listed in Muzzle Blast magazine yesterday to see if anyone had a decent price on 3f buy the case. Most of them have it in stock but the prices remain around $23 and up per lb. No discounts on bulk. The very best deal around is Powder Valley! In the past...
