    I have a 1851 Navy .36cal reproduction. On the right side of the barrel it is stamped, (SM BLACKPOWDER ONLY CAL.36MADE IN ITALY) Does the SM stand for San Marco? If so where can I purchase a bolt(cylinder catch for it. Thankyou.

    If I bring in my gpr in the house from the cold and I have tape on the muzzle and I take the cap off of the nipple and cover the nipple before I bring it in the house will moisture form in the barrel?

    Many of you put a piece of leather over the nipple if the rifle is not fired.why leather? I use a piece of saran wrap,'am I wrong in doing so? I also have a piec of scotch tape covering the muzzle while I hunt to keep out anything from going into the barrel.

    For those of you that have a black powder pistol what make would you recommend? Primary use would be for target practice and for a coyote if one would try to sneak by.I have 50cal rifle so the handgun would be the same caliber.
