    I have a .50cal TC Hawken I obtained from someone who did not do to good of a job when they got it as a kit. The barrel is loose when in the channel. I can fit 2 pieces of paper between the channel and barrel and it fits nicely. What can I do to make a permanent fix?

    Thanks for all the advice. I just ran a small piece of 00 steel wool down the bore a few times, I did not go crazy. I will see what happens next time at the range. As I stated I did order a pack each of .020 cotton and pillow ticking patches from ox-yoke to see if they will help.

    How many shots w/o swiping?

    I have been shooting my .54 GPR with a .530 ball with a .018 pillow ticking patch with ox-yoke wonder lube. I have never gone more than 5 shots without swabbing the bore, but never had an issue re-loading. Even after five shots it is very smooth.
