    unloading with air or gas?

    Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll definately check it out because depending on when and where, unloading by firing isn't always preferred and it seems cleaning would be alot simpler then if the charge was fired to unload.

    This is a new concept to me. So, how much compressed air pressure is needed to blow out your load? Will this work on a flint with touch hole in place? What about Co2? Is there a specific device made for this purpose? (flintlock) Thanks in advance. Clayboy

    finally.. my fowler is finished!

    I just picked up my .62 fowler tonight after waiting exactly one year from order. It's a beautiful piece built just as I ordered. Only exception is the wood is a much better grade than I expected. Nice surprise :wink: Very nice tiger stripe maple with modest carving. 60" overall w/ 44"...
