    Thanks for the info. I viewed the Mike Brooks Tutorial it was great. I also found a tutorial by Woods Custom Rifles that was really good. The author is from California MO where I attended third grade. I will order some books and thanks for the suggestons

    First build ?

    would like to build my first percussion rifle. .32 .36 .40 cal. This will be my first ML project of any type. Just finished J Turpin DVD series. I thought it was very good. What recommendations would anyone have for a new builder?

    Most likely a percussion kit to start. I have a 50 cal inline. would like to build a kit small cal. perhaps a .32, .36 or .40. Traditions has a Crokett .32 Kit Deer hunter model. Does anyone know if this would be a good starting point?
