    I realize they are “kit” guns I was trying to determine what kit it came from as the only short “ranger” guns I have seen are Indian or pedersoli .

    Tried that , it looks almost exactly like what is pictured. But it’s browned with no bayonet lug. Bought it from a guy in Jackson Ohio that makes locks etc

    Just acquired an unfired smoothbore flintlock. 38 or so inch barrel, Walnut stock Steel ramrod, .677 bore and has a wrist inlay in the stock. Was told it might be a Northstar Officers Fusil, does any one have pics? Thanks!
