    New Crocket .32 Squirrel Rifle

I have a feeling that between you and the other gentleman posting about your rifles, there has been a few Crockett rifles getting sold in the last few days. I have to admit, now I am interested, LOL!

    Blondie done.

    Looks good to me!

New to me Thompson Center Hawken .50

There is a fair amount of blueing that has been rubbed or scraped off near the muzzle on one side that really messes the overall look of the gun up, but I can overlook that. The bore and crown of the barrel are what is more important to me. My next concern is the hammer does not come down square...

Not great but if it shoots, not bad. More of a shooter's grade than collector's for sure.

    Miroku Hawken 50 value?

It has "MFG FOR ULTRA-HI MIROKU JAPAN 0694" stamped on one side of the barrel ".50 CAL BLACK POWDER ONLY" on the other side. No Browning markings on it.

New to me Thompson Center Hawken .50

Sorry, meant to type that in there somewhere. $300 plus tax. I think I did alright but there was a nicer $800 Miroku sitting there and some of the guys on here are saying that gun is only worth a couple hundred maybe, so not sure on the value of these things, but I am satisfied either way.

    Miroku Hawken 50 value?

My other post is way late so I'll say it again. They wanted $800 for it. Made in Japan. It is a much nicer gun than the TC Hawken .50 I bought for $300. I guess I got ripped off on that one if you guys are saying the nicer one is only worth $150? No doubt the condition and build quality was...

Maybe someone can tell me how long I have to be a member until my posts show up immediately? Most if not all of my posts are being delayed for moderator approval. Any ideas?

New to me Thompson Center Hawken .50

The sidelock bug has bit me. Saw some Hawkens at the LGS recently. Decided to stop by the shop again yesterday to see if they were still there and dig deeper into their condition. Asked the salesman if they could help me look into the bore. We shined a light an saw some funk down there. Asked if...

    Miroku Hawken 50 value?

Ya they want $800 for it. Seems "a little" high to me. They called it a Browning, LOL!

    Miroku Hawken 50 value?

Saw a Ultra Hi by Miroku Hawken at the store today. Looked like it was in excellent condition. Can anyone share a ballpark estimate for fair retail price in a store?

    New Mexico iron sights regulation.

Not long ago New Mexico banned the use of scopes for muzzleloader hunting. Seems like a necessary trend with higher success and more demand. I would be all for primative only season in AZ if not an outright ban on scopes during muzzleloader hunts. You guys like this change or should they have...

    Thoughts on new muzzleloaders

I can relate to less is more. Kinda old school like that.
