    browning barrel

I just got this older rifle and want to redo the whole thing. What do you fellows use to brown the barrel? Do you brown the sights and the tang? What do you use to get the redish color to the stock? :idunno:

    storing horns and bags

Would like to hang horns and bags for safe keeping and to show. Have a nice piece of wood with bark on both edges but don't have a good way to hang horns and bags. Need some ideas. :hmm:

    slings

Thanks for the information but I don't want to put swivels on the rod thimbles nor drill a hole in the stock. I saw them at TOTW but they are on back order and I need it now. Also does the tie on the barrel block sight view?

    slings

How do I make a sling for my Hawken rifle without drilling holes for mounts?

I just saw a leather capper offered as part of a gun package. How are these made and how good do they work.

    hello from west kentucky

Just shot my first bp about two months ago. Got hooked. Have a .50 cal tc hawken caplock and love it. Don't know about flint. I do enjoy reading and learning about muzzleloaders but like to shoot them more, just too cold and snowy.
