    Jealous also of the amount of public land other states offer. I have to drive at least six hours to hunt public land with my bow or ml. Heading out Thursday with string stick, but will use ML in national forests here in January.

    I've got older GPR in .54 and a new old stock Cabela Investarms in .54. Older GPR shoots much tighter groups as I've only put down about 50 round balls through the Investarms.

    I just took a piece of paper and marked outside to outside on my .54 Cabela Investarm. I also marked inside to inside. It looks like an exact match to the rifle in question. I have a harbor freight close by for a caliper, but it looks like I now own two .54s.
