Nope - it came through an estate, no other bbls came with it. It unfortunately has a scope mounted on it which is being removed as we speak. One odd thing is I thought these had double rear sight blades, one for each bbl. This only has the one, and of course my goal is to get both bbls as...- mornard

My main questions are - has anyone tried 777, or Blackhorn 209 in one of these? And where do I start with a bullet - patched ball, lubed T/C minie, Great Plains style bullet? Anyone have experience with these? I just got one, it's in like new condition - seriously I don't believe it's ever...- mornard

just got a Crockett .32 cal...
and my understanding is a soft pure lead 00 buck is the right size for the ball, but what thickness for the patch? - sorry in advance for my dumbness, but I'm new to blackpowder...thanks for any assistance.- mornard

Barking Squirrels
JHabs - not a large caliber, but traditionally a .32 or .36. It's best for the squirrel that flattens himself on a branch to hide. Aim to hit the tree limb jest under 'em, & the percussion bounces them up in the air and kills 'em dead. And enny man who says he can do it better be eatin'...- mornard

Too many Does?
TexasMLer... I din't understand it until a biologist exlained it to me this way. The land can carry only so many deer. The more does, the less room for bucks re: food supply, etc. The answer is to shoot as many does as you can, and leave the small bucks to grow. This is why MN and WI - both...- mornard
