    What a wealth of knowledge and help here. The sear slips off the tumbler when lock removed from rifle as well. I've removed the sear, looks fine to my (uneducated) eyes. About that sear spring, seems the cheapest fix to try first, I'll report any joy. Thanks Gents, Don

    Original poster here, sorry, failed to add comments to the photos. Bore around 7/8th inch, muzzle slightly flared. Damascus barrel octangular at breech, round continuing to muzzle. No other markings. Anything interesting or unusual here? Meaning of 'GASPARO', 'F' or '32'? Thank you, Don Weiler
