    I know the rifle is a CVA, and I'm pretty sure it's a hawken of some kind. If anyone has any information on what it is exactly I would like to know. It doesn't have a patch box on it is the reason I ask.

    This is my first attempt at refinishing a BP rifle. I bought this thing at a gun show and the barrel was in kinda bad shape and I didn't like the color of the stock so I did some rebluing and I stripped and stained the stock a little darker Before And the After Pics
