    SxS pedersoli shotgun

Paul, I have been reading your post and I need to know where the filing is done. Is it inside the bore or the front edge of the bores.I think you mean on the outside on the front edge.It would kind of shorten the area of the bore where you would be filing compared to the rest of the surface of...

    uberti cattleman 44 carbine

I just got the Cattleman 44 from uberti. I bought it because I wanted something fun to shoot.I read the booklet and no where does it say what size caps it takes. I assume it takes #10 but how would I know for sure. The guy at Cabelas said 10's. Can the nipples be changed to 11's? Has any one had...

    uberti walker shooting 6'' high

Well guys thanks for the insight.. I tried putting the front sight to where it was just visible in the lower part of the v notch of the hammer and this lowered it to about 3 " high. I might be able to live with that. I tell you what though... this gun is a pleasure to shoot.

    uberti walker shooting 6'' high

Got a new Uberti Walker from Cabelas this week. A Real beauty. One problem it shoots 6" high at 25 yds. With fixed sights how do I fix this problem? The grouping is within a 3" circle dead center but 6"" above the bulls eye. Thanks

    The caywood percussion lock

Guys, My complaint was very simply this.. I bought a gun for 1700.00... I knew the gun was not going to be historically correct. What I did not know was that the lock was going to be a cut flintlock., and when I spoke to Rowe he made it clear that there were no locks at the shop that were for...

    Caywood English fowler

I have been looking at the Caywood English fowler and fowler game gun. I was thinking about getting it in percussion. I called and spoke to one of the gun makers and after much discussion I am now leaning to the flint. Anybody have experience with the Caywood fowler in the 12 ga 30" game gun or...

    smoothbore hatfield style

Does anyone out there know of a smoothbore rifle that is similar in appearance to the Hatfield or the DP frontier? I have a DP frontier and would like a smoothbore so I can fire shot from it. I have the DP sxs but want something else to shoot, I really like the style of the Frontier.

    pedersoli 50 cal frontier

Roundball, I can get plenty of bp, I was looking for something cleaner. I can tell you this, nothing ignites better than bp, and the smoke ,well I don't have to tell you.I guess that I will find the best load for hunting with the bp but when it comes to target I will use 777 until it's gone.Has...

    pedersoli 50 cal frontier

brpc, Do you get that delayed ignition with the 777? I get it and don't like it. I hate to go back to bp but if the delay continues I will. My 50 shoots around 3 to the right with 60 grs.777.
