    What .45 rifle for roedeer?

Thanks for the first replies. Yes we can normally get all kind of ML here, but most of them in .45. So I asked at the point for .45 suggestions. We can also get other cals, but that is a big pain and we have to wait very long because the manufacturers like Ardesa/Traditions and Investarm/Lyman...

Hello from Germany! I want you expirienced guys to ask what .45 rifle would be the best one for roedeer hunting here over the pond in Germany. Roedeer are much smaller than whitetales, only about 40 pounds field dressed. They are most common in thickets and along forestlines. Average distance...

    First muzzleloader on its way!!!!

Hello from Germany! Congrats to the new smokepole! For your powder problems: Pyrodex won't ignite at all in a flinter because its ignition temp. is too high. So if there is really only 1F and 4F available then use 4f for priming the pan and for a starter load under the 1F charge...

Shot my Great Plains for the first time!

Congrats to your new GPR! For a better sight there is a Lyman rear and front sight available which is adjustable and gives a better contrast, especially when the light is getting lower. you can mount these sight in the dovetails. Speedloaders can be bought in any ML shop I think, ut why not...

    Traditions BP guns

On the skala mentioned I will give them a 6-7. I have several of them from Deerhunter over Woodsman Hawken to Shenandoah Rifle and all work well and were straight shooters. About the flinters I can't say anything, because I don't buy any production flinters at all. Regards Kirrmeister
