Hello from Germany! Today I was outside with my new Ardesa/Traditions deerhunter .45 capper. I sat in a treestand for about 30 min at a baiting when I heared something right from me. I looked and saw a roedoe slowly moving out of the forest in the open always watching carefully. Then it...

Hello from Germany! Does anyone know if the T/C drop in barrels will fit the Traditions/Ardesa Hawken Woodsman rifle? If so it wil be a good chance to "pimp up" our .45 Hawkens which are available in great numbers. Regards Kirrmeister

I shot roedeer with a charge of 90 gr Wanao PP and a .440 PRB at 60m, so I think it will work at coyotes, too! Regards Kirrmeister

    Maxis in a 1 in 66" barrel!

Sir, when I said that the .45 will work on wildboar I thought about using conicals because I knew some guys who had already harvested boars with .45 maxis at close range. All boars died in their tracks. I would never recommend a .45 PRB for boar. Regards Kirrmeister

    Maxis in a 1 in 66" barrel!

I will test that, too. With my .45 GPR with the 1 in 60" twist I get also good groups at 50m using 60 grs of Wano PPP. Regards Kirrmeister

    Maxis in a 1 in 66" barrel!

Hello from Germany! After getting my Deerhunter in .45 with the 1 in 66" ROT I tested around with Maxis to have a heavier bullet available. I used .452 maxis and 90 grs of Wano PP. I shot at 30 m and was very surprised. Accuracy was really good with these conicals out of a roundball barrel. So...

Ordered today! My .45 KY pistol!

Unfortunately the cap and ballers are not free because they are not singleshot. So you need a permission and therefore you have to shoot in a club for 12 months and make a gun handling and saftey course. So much more to do as with a single shot pistol, which is free to get for people of 18years...

Help! Worse availability of ML in Germany!

It has the same measure as the .50 and .54 barrels. You are right it is pretty heavy, but good for target shooting against recoil. Regards Kirrmeister

    Deerhunter arrived yesterday!

You are right ! But I think the basic model of the deerhunter is always the same. For the european ,arket they make it only with .45 barrel and iron/brass sight, because here ML hunting is not so common, but in the USA they offer more hunting modells. So my idea was buying one in .45, becuae...
