    54 cal for elk

I agree totally with Paul! I started ML hunting here in Germany 4 years ago and had to learn much and I'm still learning. I found the the favorite bullet is a lead PRB propelled by real bp. Here in Germany many modern hunters still can't believe in the effect of this combo. But it...

Dear Sir, from the view of politics and cold war block thinking you are right. But geographicaly the former GDR was never eastern Germany. It was always middle germany. Another for the freezer

Considering with roedeer the expirience is that button bucks never become good bucks with nice antlers. They will always stay underdeveloped. The other thing is with spikes. They can be a real good 6 pointer in the following season. I see that these whitetails have many similarities in biology...

    Is A muzzleloader A firearm?

Just for interest: Here over the pond in Germany ML are considered firearms, but all singleshot ML which are original or are reproduced from originals before 1871 (the term is handled very liberal by german authorities) are free to get, built, ship for persons of 18 or older. That means the...

    neck shots ???

I won't recommend a neck shot, because the neck together with the head is the most moving part of a deer. And there is to much danger to miss. When game stands broadside then I shoot always at the blade/boilerroom. Only when I have the deer from behind I would try a neckshoot. Furthermore the...
