    i just blued my flintlock. corrosion started forming so after research I soaked my barrel in baking soda and water to stop the bluing process. Are there any other ways to stop bluing process completely without any special products?

    unfortunately i waited too long to clean my pistol. i also do not have the tools or skills to unbreech it. ive washed it out with ballistol and water but the i do not know how to remove the rust. (its hard to see in the pic, but there's a lot of rust in there.) picture is looking into the breech...
