    I had cataract surgery and now my vision is 20/20. I use SSP with reading insert in my right eye. The insert is high on the right lense so that you look through it when your head is down while sighting. Works real well. I can see the sights and the target clearly...

    I hear you! I’m not looking for a big challenge at this point. I want to learn the ins and outs of a build and I want to end up with a quality flintlock. After that maybe I’ll move on to something more challenging. I’m in favor of baby steps!!

    Everything I have read, including those on this forum tells me that Kibler is way to go. I agree that he is NOT overpriced. The quality is outstanding. I looked into other kits and they seem to be way below the quality of Kibler.

    Well I gotta tell ya....you guys are great. I looked at the pics you posted and removed the trigger and guess what....a little bit of dirt in the mechanism! Sprayed some ballistol and she's as good as new! Thanks for the help!!!
