So, nobody here is "discombobulated by the Left's Gun Grabbing". Nobody here identifies "with the Left and spew forth the latest and greatest Gun Grabbing regulations." You are correct. However, you can speak to one by calling Michael Crowell at the USPS HQ Business Acceptance Solutions at...

And you said the same thing to me last time I posted the regulations. I don't know what BGOS is. Like I said, I don't think anyone likes the regulations. We all would prefer to mail what we want when we want to who we want. So, again, please stop calling people who are providing factual...

    Poor quality #11 caps

Barry is a competition shooter, as am I. You'll go through 250 revolver caps just from competition alone in a year. If you practice at all you can double that easily. With both my kids now shooting on my team also I'm burning through 300 musket caps a competition easily. So 3000+ musket caps...

Michael is not a policy maker. He is just the person that I contacted who did the research and asked around to confirm that in fact you cannot ship any handguns through the USPS except for certain license holders and certain government employees. Calling Michael will not cause any change. If...

I wish you'd stop with this snide stuff. All people are doing is telling others what the current US Postal Regulations are so you don't run afoul of them and potentially put yourself out of hundreds of dollars from a denied insurance claim. It's not our fault that the US Postal Regulations are...

    Bought a Walker Today

Great deal on a great gun! I sewed a simple thin leather loop that slides over the barrel and loading lever. Leather is thin enough that it does not obscure the front sight (though I installed a taller blade to get point of aim at 25 yards). A period-possible fix.

Be advised: You cannot lawfully ship any kind of handgun, antique, reproduction antique, or otherwise, through the USPS, except for specific licensed people and government employees. If you doubt this, call Michael Crowell at the USPS HQ Business Acceptance Solutions at 1-877-672-0007. Yes...

    Is This Worth It?

Hollywood only likes fantasy history now because it's the only way you can shoehorn in the agenda.

    Is This Worth It?

Here is the same gun from Cimmarron direct as someone mentioned above, for $733. https://www.cimarron-firearms.com/lomesone-dove-walker-9-44-call.html

    SOLD Spiller and Burr

Appears to be so-stamped on the right-hand side of the barrel.

    Is This Worth It?

It's been years since I used to get their catalog (also Brigade Quartermaster) but they used to be a clearinghouse kind of catalog with lots of surplus stuff, as I recall. Want to point out here that this is not a standard Uberti Walker. It has "custom" stampings and the barrel is in the white...

    Enfield P53 reproductions

Great to know, and disappointing. As the video notes, Pedersoli back in 2017 started putting cleanout screws on their Enfields. This is not historically correct. They probably did this so that they could use the same breeches on their Whitworth and Volunteer rifles, which had cleanout...

    Enfield P53 reproductions

About twist. It's important to note that the 2-band P58 had the 1:48 twist rate, while the 3-band was 1:78, historically. In addition, the P-58 had a 5-groove barrel, while the P53 is 3-groove. About authenticity. Parker Hale started the reproductions of the Enfield muzzle loading rifles...

    Goex Upsetting Dealers

I would not be surprised if dealers are upset with Goex for staking out an expected price point for consumers. It's hard for local mom and pop shops. None around here carry real BP anymore because you have to have special storage facilities, and special license permits, all for maybe $4-$5 in...

    Goex Upsetting Dealers

I have been a Goex shooter in N-SSA competition for over a decade now. Once I was unable to get Goex, and bought Sheutzen instead. It was noticeably dirtier in my muzzle loading arms. So much so that I almost gave up on using the Moose Wilkinson bullet. This bullet has very little...

    Blood lead levels at 5.0ug/ml

I've been casting bullets since around 2010, I think. I get my lead levels checked every year as part of my annual physical. Never a problem.
