    That’s what I’m calling it anyway. .45:cal with what looks like a version of micro groove rifling. Single set trigger feels pretty good in the hand and weighs just over 2lbs. Anyone have first hand experience with one of these? It was another impulse buy last weekend.

    Ideas wanted for woodswalk Archery competition.

    Last one I set up used plastic bottles of different sizes with a tether string and a stake to kind of anchor them. Judo points are great and no one lost an arrow. Tie breaker at the end was a Kentucky V on a foam block. 2 liter bottle can be spray painted into a ground hog and so forth.

    Narrow land square cut is what I always bring to table matches. Green Mountain or Goodoien. Yes I do have a couple round grooves that shoot good and a couple that suck. Maybe I could sell them too the (shoots better than I can guys) 😁

    The sprue plates are usually too tight on Lee molds. The screw is left hand thread. The vents need to be open and not plugged with burrs or soot. It’s like a drain pipe if it’s not vented it will fill slow. Don’t worry about too hot, hot lead and hot mold is good. If sprue puddle freezes up...

    I wouldn’t smoke the mold, I think it’s BS. Also look into some sprue plate lube like bull shop or two stroke engine oil. A little on a Q tip and rub a film on Top of hot sprue plate about every 30 pours. Tooth brush and 409 cleaner to get rid of soot and good magnifying glass to check for tiny...
