    traditions flintlocks worth buying?

I know a few people who have a Traditions deerhunter. After handling their guns and shooting them I would never buy one. Besides having a poor lock, the sights have a habit of falling off randomly, esp while hunting. Save your money and buy a Lyman GPR or save up even more and buy a custom...

    me and my flinter

yeah that split rail fence idea sounds a bit painfull. The hardest part of shooting off of that "horse" was that the target was in front of the horse instead of an angle. That is why I was leaning back so far. Anyway it was good fun.

    powder for a .54???

I shoot a custom .54 flinter with a 42in colerain bbl. It really likes FF, I have burned a few pounds of Goex through it, but have switched to the Swiss and will be sticking with it.

What movie would you like to see made?

One of the first things I thought of was Lewis and Clark. It would probably have to be in a couple of movies, or one really long one, but if done right would be good. A good F&I war flick would be nice as well

    Boy Scouts and flintlocks

This is coming from an eagle scout of 15 years, thank you. I used to help out with my troop until it seemed that it turned from the boy scouts to the the mom and dad scouts, and the troop meetings were almost like a babysitting service
