I recall a thread about Paypal use.......update on that.

One more point. Consumers did a study on insurance companies. Took them over 5 years as insurance companies did not want to part with data. Lots of points but the biggest in my mind is that insurance companies do NOT reward you for long service. In fact, they do studies to find the "jumpers"...

I recall a thread about Paypal use.......update on that.

Allstate did something similar. Inspected house in July for renewal and got "All OK". Then, in December got letter that said they did not accept the inspection report(it was their contracted inspector) and a new inspection says roof needs to be reshingled to get renewed. I have three months...

    GOOP Lube

Yup! I stand corrected. Was at Menards today for some JB Weld and right next to the ShooGoo was a tube of GOOP -- Some kind of clear marine sealant/adhesive. I wonder how they do not get in trouble with name same as GOOP the waterless hand cleaner...

    GOOP Lube

Read a thread here awhile back talking about using GOOP -- the non-gritty variety. I can only find the "New Orange GOOP" and not the original. I remember using as a hand cleaner when younger before Fast Orange came along. SO my question for any GOOP users (GOOPers?) is if the Orange variety...

    Shooting all by one’s lonesome

Yes, unless I can get my son to go. I'm retired but he's married with 3 girls under 8 years old so..... Our range used to have BP shoots....not silhouettes as steel targets verboten..but paper out to 600 yards. COVID seemed to do those events in More often than not, if there are others around...

First time percussion owner. Question on preserving barrel

I also tho WD 40 has several types. I use WD 40 Specialist Corrosion Inhibitor. Its' a long lasting rust preventative -- supposedly invented/designed by NASA for use on their rockets to prevent rust

    .45 patch and ball load

No BP here either...Old timer told me to use 1 1/2 times caliber for a hunting load. For my Hawken .45 that would be 67.5 grains. So I shoot 70 grains Pyrodex Select. My Hawken repro is a T/C Hawken circa 1978. She loves that load....and gives me 7/8 inch groups with target holes touching...

First shots with my new to me TC Hawken and daughters TC New Englander

An old timer years ago said to use 1 1/2 times caliber of 2F with a pre cut patched round ball. This is for a T/C Hawken repro circa 1978. That's 67.5 gr so I shoot 70 gr. With a Lee Shaver mid range Soule vernier tang and a Hadley cup I get .75 inch groups at 25 yards and just under 1.4...

Anyone shooting paper cartridges in 36 & 44 caliber?

I used RAW before I switched to BeeLine -- both are organic hemp with no additives. very thin but strong. I like them both but BeeLine a little cheaper online. Your last picture looks like the tops are rolled ->??

Anyone shooting paper cartridges in 36 & 44 caliber?

I have the .44 kit from Guns of the West. Make with round balls and conicals. I use organic hemp blunt papers -- BeeLine. Inexpensive. Fun to make, easy to load and shoot fine. I have heard of some using a lubed wad inside the cartridge. Supposedly do not need to overgrease the projectile but...
