    You can shim the tang up using no. 8 flat washers. Put them under the tang screw holes and re-install. T/C used to use a caulk like material for this.

    6-48...all T/C screws that go into the barrel are all the same size. Under rib, rear sights, ramrod retaining spring, thimbles.

    Buying from a dealer is a lot cheaper than buying online. Hazmat fees force you to buy in large quantities. Most folks don't have the option...no dealer nearby.

    You can use it to make Moose Milk (T/C no. 13) My local gun store has it on the shelf, but I can't find a percussion cap within 600 miles.

    Kibler Finish Question

    I've used Permslyn on a couple of stocks and it comes out really nice after 3 coats. I then rub it out with rottenstone to a rich satin finish.
