    I think the "Magnum" infers the heavier Pietta shotgun, around 8 lbs. "Magnum", meaning handling heavier field loads, like 1 & 1/2 oz of #4's, and the recoil that goes with them. I had them over the decades. Believe the hammer design indicates the heavier model.
