    Rogers rangers musket photos please?

Numb, I took off 9 inches of barrel ( overly thick Indian barrel) , and the nose cap and stock wood. It resulted in a noticeable weight difference. Def more that two ounces. Maybe 3/4 of a lb. I never weighed it so not sure. Def handles better.

    Rogers rangers musket photos please?

Florida Airginner, Here is a shortened long land repro bess next to a short land pattern repro bess. It’s definitely lighter and handier than than the full length barrel. It was cut off in one cut with the a hacksaw. Nothing else was moved or modified. It’s has a homemade front site.

    Stock Discoloration During Cleaning

I used BLO on my first build, cause everyone said it’s what was on originals. I have come not to believe that. After my first couple of days huntI got in the rain all day, the wool glove i was wearing took off practically all of the finish and much of the stain At the forestock.

Question about Loyalist Arms and Repairs

Flintlock Whiskey, the lock is the heart of the gun. The stock, hardware, barrel are all secondary to the lock. If the lock is mediocre or problematic, it diminishes your entire experience when shooting a flintlock. It’s frustrating as hell to try and enjoy a flintlock that is inconsistent...

Question about Loyalist Arms and Repairs

From what I recall, the proof paperwork was an instructional on how to proof the musket. Had and used a few different ones over the years. Heavy and the locks ranged from poor to absolute junk. Geometry was way off on them and the internals were soft and wore out very quickly. It’s been several...
