    Ugly pedersoli

Probably 75% of my new rifles have shot "Low" at the start. That is intentional for the most part ... that way all you have to do is file the front sight until you are hitting where "YOU" want the gun to shoot with the load that "YOU" have chosen. Unbelievable......

50 PRB speed over a chrono

Try shooting through a 12"X12" piece of stretched Cheese cloth. The ball will go completely through, unimpeded but the patch and the smoky crap will get caught and not give false readings on the chronograph. FYI... don't have your wife hold the cheese cloth while you shoot at it.....

    Pedersoli poor quality

My point was to remind us that not all of their products are garbage... yes some are but not all. Most that I am are aware of are of good quality. Your mileage may vary.

    Pedersoli poor quality

Own multiple Pedersoli,, some older and a few newer ones. All are to notch firearms. All my flinters work flawlessly and look great. I also have some custom rifles and pistols that are great also. It boils down to the same thing when you buy a new vehicle. Some are great,, look great, run great...

    1862 police/colt style revolvers...how slick?

You need to watch all of his BP videos with BP pistols. He is very knowledgable and has altered his revolvers so as to not need to tilt them. I will take his advice over just about anyone else on revolvers or rifles.

    Dumping Ballistol and Gun Oil

Been shooting BP since 1968 and have used just about everything under the sun. Some of it worked and some of it ... not so much. Nowdays if I am at the range or in the field, I just use Ballistol and water... about 10 parts water to one part Ballistol. Works great. Then pure Ballistol to oil it...

    Rolling papers for combustible cartridges?

One of my pistols is the 1862 police .36. The cigarette papers work great without nitrating them. super handy.

    Rolling papers for combustible cartridges?

That is what I use. Cigarette papers work fantastic and are dirt cheap to buy. They last forever. Burn completely upon ignition.

Just melt a hole in the center of the plastic lid. Push brass cartridge through hole and melt plastic and smear around brass cartridge. Done.

20 gauge load experiments---results with and without SkyChief method

Very interesting. Deserves more testing ... but with that said. I pattern my 20ga. at 35+ yards. My Pedersoli SXS and my Pedersoli Fowler 20. Have excellent luck with Duelist 1954 (Mike Bellevue) loads. They can be seen on Youtube. My picture at the left is a testament to the Fowler. 2 birds...

    NMLRA 3-Year Memberships

I recently used the 3years for the price of 2. My belief is that if you want change in an organization it is best accomplished from within the organization. Whining and complaining and tearing something down is counterproductive. Get signed up and get to work. Get involved...done't sit on the...
