FOR SALE Armi Sport Zouave Rifle Musket

Near as I can tell, it just in the finish. It was like that when I bought it new some 30 years ago and nothing has changed. I bought it prior to joining a Civil War reenactment group, but found out that the unit we portrayed used the 3 band Enfield or Springfield. I picked one of those up as...

FOR SALE Armi Sport Zouave Rifle Musket

SOLD SOLD SOLD It’s been a safe Queen for many years. Back in the 90’s I got into Civil War Reenactment, but ended up getting a 3 band Enfield instead, as that was what the unit we portrayed used. I got it out 4 or 5 years ago and fired it maybe a dozen times. It’s always looked too pretty to...

FOR SALE Ranson Italia Zouave rifled musket

SOLD I have for sale a .58 caliber Zouave made in Italy by Ranson later Investarms. I’ve had it for many years but haven’t gotten around to shooting it for at least 20. I used to shoot 50 grains FFG and a patched .570 round ball. Ramrod was repaired when I got it, sort of ugly, but solid. I was...

SOLD USA Made CVA Mountain Rifle/Still Pending

I had one of these back in the early 80’s in .54 that I built from a kit. I won a Lyman Plains rifle that was 1st prize at our local rendezvous beating out a number of custom guns - much to their dismay. As a result, I sold the CVA and kept the plains rifle, but finding out after the fact...

    HELP Shotgun Choices??

One reason for the excess plastic residue might be that I was shooting them out of one of my originals that's bore wasn't quite as smooth as my Pedersoli. I'll try using an over powder wad to see if that helps. Thanks for the response.

    HELP Shotgun Choices??

Nice bird, do you have any issues with plastic wads? My experience is that they leave melted plastic residue in my barrel that is hard to remove.

What is the reasonable distance to quickly kill a turkey with a muzzleloader?

I sit in my blind and call them, I’ve never had to shoot more than 20 yards with either modern or black powder shotgun. At that range I use #2 or #4. Other than speed of loading, I don’t feel handicapped at all with my original BP shotguns, which I use most of the time. With my open choked...

Round Balls Out Of A Bird Gun

One of my originals is a single barrel Fowler in 12 ga (far left in photo). I shoot a patched .690 RB and 70 grains Swiss 1 1/2. I keep all shots on an 8.5 x 11 inch paper target at 30-40 yards. Planning on taking it on my muzzle loader hunt next week

    Traded Into a Zouave Today

I just picked up two of these from a guy that was selling them for his dad. I gave him $400 for a (looks new) Armi Sport and the other is an Italian off brand that I can't remember the maker. I think they sold out to Investarms or something like that. Anyway, already having a Euroarms 3 band...

Want to buy Civil War reproduction rifle

My brother might still have an Italian reproduction Zouave .58 caliber. If you are interested and he does still have it, I think he was asking around $300-350 plus shipping.

Anyway to dye white canvas tan?

I actually bought a few cans of that weather/water proofing spray you use for shoes (Wally world). It seemed to work fairly well and was fast and easy. I spray a fresh coat on it every time I use it.

Anyway to dye white canvas tan?

I've used tea for my white shirts that works well, but you might have to use a lot of tea bags.

    HELP Shotgun Choices??

In addition to a few originals, I have an older Navy Arms 12 without removable chokes (second from bottom), and it works well on rabbits.
