SO, What do y'all think i would be a Fair price?

Have a .50 cal Mountain Rifle that is one of the early American made ones. Has 32" made in USA on barrel with 1-66" twist. Appears to be in good overall shape. Has a real nice piece of wood, i assume Maple, in the stock. Someone inletted a rectangular brass piece inside a diamond in the left side of the barrel between the wedges as can be seen in pics. Will need a ramrod as this one is broken and the 2 trigger guard screws i would replace as for some unknow reason someone put phillips screws in. Bore is not brite and shiny, but crown and rifling are good. I think it will make a good shooter. Triggers and lock work right. $350+ actual shipping in lower 48.

I had one of these back in the early 80’s in .54 that I built from a kit. I won a Lyman Plains rifle that was 1st prize at our local rendezvous beating out a number of custom guns - much to their dismay. As a result, I sold the CVA and kept the plains rifle, but finding out after the fact, should have went the other way around as the CVA out shot it hands down. If I had some spare cash right now, I’d pick it up. Wife just had some minor surgery which came at a major cost, if you know what I mean.
