    Mold Question

I have a lot of their die sets as well. I’ll usually replace the rings with locking one, but as far as I’m concerned, they are every bit as good as any of the other brands.

    Wallhangers

Well, my dad used to hang a nice older shotgun above his fireplace when I was a kid growing up, but I advised him to take it down and put it in the safe as it was worth upwards of $1000. An old pump Daisy BB gun rests in its place.

    Mold Question

I lot of folks don't like Lee molds, but I have several for round ball, conical and even modern bullets. I have never had a problem with them.

    Mold Question

The "bag" molds I have owned didn't cast a perfect ball. They seem to be a slight bit "egg shaped."

    Wallhangers

I really don't have any wall hangers, if I can't shoot them, I don't buy them. This goes for old as well as new.

    2nd Generation Colt Navy

Good information guys, I may low ball him and then pass if he says no.

    2nd Generation Colt Navy

The guy advertised it at $600 just for the pistol, but I thought I'd start at $400-450.

    2nd Generation Colt Navy

I have a chance to buy a 2nd Generation Colt Navy .36. Just wondering how much I should offer him. I've attached a couple photos. Thanks

    Most Overrated Muzzleloading Accessories

However, I do like those straight line cappers when I'm shooting cap and ball revolvers, especially my little 1849 pocket. My fingers are too big and I keep dropping the caps otherwise. I'm sure it's mainly operator error.

    EBAY Muzzleloading Overloaded With Junk

Some of the boxes were so heavy, I'd reinforce the box with a good, clear strapping tape.

    EBAY Muzzleloading Overloaded With Junk

I used to ship lead bullets and I would pack them in the bulk rate USPS boxes. Weight doesn't matter.

    EBAY Muzzleloading Overloaded With Junk

I agree the downside is having to scroll through pages of mislabeled junk, but I have also benefited by the seller not knowing what he was selling. For example, last fall I guy had listed on one of our local classified sites, two muzzle loading double shotguns for sale for $75. One was a little...

    "Ignition"

I've always loved history. My mom used to tell be I was born in the wrong century. While in Jr. High School, my math teacher brought in an under-hammer muzzle loader for show and tell (that was when you could do that and not be arrested). Soon after that I bought a .45 caliber Dixie long rifle...

Ok, what is the best shot/shots you have seen or accomplished?

I had a Navy Arms Charleville that would do about as good. It's just one of the guns I wished I still owned.

    fire hazard?

On occasion, I have had a smoking patch fly out the bore and land on the ground. I always carry a little spray bottle with water (Walmart for $1) for such occasions.

    Dueling Pistols

The pistols look more like Mangs to me.

    Anybody know...

I have three .54 caliber muzzle loaders of different makes, and they are all different in the patch/ball/powder requirements for accuracy.

    Amusing/Ridiculous Muzzleloading Misconceptions...

I was invited to participate in a shooting match with my two brother-in-laws, which was an annual thing between them. One had a Sig and the other a Glock. I showed up with my Pedersoli LePage. They laughed until they saw my target - I kicked their ***** in no small way. At the distance they shot...
