Toy caps are made with Armstrongs mixture. Its potassium chlorate, red phosphorus and sand. It was originally used to prime artillery shells. Todays caps have less powder in them. They could be used for evil purposes and bought without raising any red flags. Any who... bordering on taboo subjects.

    ??? Halfbaked idea or not?

Well... I've made up my mind. Some time in the near future I'm gonna have a custom mould built. There are quite a few companys out there who build them. Some very reasonably priced. Did another search this morning. What I want isnt made. The base has to be slightly smaller like the Lee conical...

    ??? Halfbaked idea or not?

    ??? Halfbaked idea or not?

    ??? Halfbaked idea or not?

I was thinking of manufacturing a simple loading lever for use with a removed cylinder. Both self defense and survival hunting. I'm the doomsday type that believes the economy is going to go completely down the toilet. Also if it works well I thought I might some how make some money back on...

    ??? Halfbaked idea or not?

Howdy all, I had an idea. I'm not entirely new to black powder but I'm taking a deeper interest as I get older. I was thinking... Theres a company I came across on the net that would build a bullet mould to any specifacations ya want. What if ya took the base of a Lee conical for bp and combined...

    Howdy from Maine

Howdy all! new here. Recently bought a Pietta 1858 new army target. Cant wait to get around to playing with it. Was just thinking of the time when I was a kid. All my buddies had toy guns and they were running around pretending to shoot each other. They said I could'nt play with them unless I...
