Howdy all,
I had an idea. I'm not entirely new to black powder but I'm taking a deeper interest as I get older. I was thinking... Theres a company I came across on the net that would build a bullet mould to any specifacations ya want. What if ya took the base of a Lee conical for bp and combined it with the hollow point nose of a Lyman Devastator hollowpoint? For use in black powder revolvers. Also I have a crap load of 12ga deer slugs, can I salvage the lead out of them for casting for my Pietta 1838? I figure it must be some alloy thats harder than pure or soft but should be fine for now. Thanks, Dan
