I was considering a "reloadable cap". Chopped down 25 acp case that fits over a custom nipple or something to that effect. Might have to make the hammer have a firing pin. No screwing or unscrewing. I guess I need to look into the 209 primer adaptor for an option. I just assumed that would be a pita also. A shotshell primer is basically a pistol primer in a stamped cup. There is actually another reason why I personally want to find another option. Percussion caps are made like trash...- dylan84

Anti Brush Rhetoric.
If your barrel is made out of something better than cheese, you are not going to hurt it with a brush. If you are extremely clumsy than I guess stay away from the steel core type. Otherwise those are fine also. That being said I don't ever use a brush on my black powder guns! lol- dylan84

Sometimes I have to remove a problem predator. I know what you are referring to. The guys that call in and massacre yotes with their custom AR 15 rifles on tripods. Those guys are queers.... 😂 Predators do have nice fur and can be used to make cool stuff!- dylan84

That's why I was considering the rifle primers. I need to try it to even see if it would work. My idea was to leave them sticking up slightly so the hammer wouldn't need modified and have a slot where you could stick some kind of pick in there to pop them out. I have considered making a nipple to accept small or large rifle primers. Definitely have some strong ignition but would have to carry some kind of tool to pop them out of the nipple. Musket caps are expensive enough that I would rather buy rifle primers to have on hand. I did score 500 No...- dylan84
