    Thanks man! Actually i got a small dog that barks all the time. Maybe he would do the job making sure the bear knows we are there! He will bark at literally everything he hear out in forest

    Yeah man the reason is over here that's the only legal gun i can own but i can't have an uberti etc anyways because it has to be produced before 1890 in order to be legal. And i can't have one with a metal cartridge even if it's produced before 1890 so only the muzzleloaders with black powder...

    Good to have both i guess! And being ready to run.... i'm not sure if the bear spray is legal here i will check. If it's some kinda pefferspray it's not legal. So i will go read what it contains!

    Yepp probably i might not be the first one trying to survive a bear attack with a remington in case i'm unlucly and get attacked....the ods aren't big but i just wanted to know how much of a defense they could be in such a scenario 😄

    Yepp would probably feel safer with that then nothing at all so guess i might take them both with me and hope i don't get any bears chasing me 😄 i think it's pretty okay tho i mean we didn't get grizzlys over here! I think the ones we got are brown bears! And i don't know much about brown bears...

    Yess i will! Over here we didn't get any alaskan or grizzly bears so probably i'm good i just heard we got bears up in these mountains and i guess it's brownies! So probably it's pretty safe tho as long they know you're there and don't get surprised when they see you!

Holy **** dude if i had a bear 20 feet away running towards me i wouldn't be so happy about that....and yeah we got wolves as well etc so it might be good in either cases! Thanks for the advice! Of course you don't want to hurt a animal but better...

    Yeah man probably you right i didn't hear about much similar cases. It's just that we got some mountains here i like. I wanna go sleep over there and i heard there are bears over there 😄 that's why i started wondering! But probably they stay away from people!

    Well if it could run 200 yards it could for sure kill anyone before dying....sounds like my rem 1858 are pretty much useless for self defense against larger predators! Not sure tho if you guys are talking about larger grizzly bears or the ones we got in scandinavia. Or if that does matter at all...

    Thanks for the reply! Sounds really bad 😅 i only got rem. 1858 so guess if i meet a brown bear (i believe that's the ones we got in forest and mountains here) i might end up bad anyways 😅
