Sight setup on your squirrel/deer rifles?

My T/C’s and CVA’s have U shape rear sight and a thick front blade. I put a dab of white marking paint on the front blade to make it more visible. It helped me out a bunch, My eyesight is not the best anymore.

    Powder Pellets?

I use them in my unmentionable rifle only and they work well. Never even thought about using them in anything else.

probably a dumb question re squirrel rifle

I have an unfired CVA 32 cal Squirrel Rifle, says it on the barrel. I am going to say it was a marketing ploy to sell more rifles. I have had it for about a year now and it will not be unfired for very much longer.

Needed 1st range trip supplies for a percussion rifle?

If you want something local, try Full Circle Reloading on 5th Street, used to be Graf’s. They have a very limited supply. They do have some percussion caps.

@Carbon 6 I am fairly new to traditional muzzleloaders, why do you say to stay away from brushes?

    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

@Woodnbow my plan is to shoot it and not worry too much about it. I will probably never shoot it enough to run into this issue, but I will keep an eye on it.

    .54 renegade

Good advice on cleaning. I have a 54cal T/C Renegade and I shoot a .530 Hornady swaged round ball and .015 lubed patch over 90g of 2F. This was the load that the guy I bought it from used and recommended. I tried it and it shot great so I went with it. What you use all depends on your rifle...

    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

I see the cut out and the built in rammer. I guess my question is does the whole cylinder move on say the Old Army like jimhallam stated that the 1873 does? If it doesn't than what keeps it from moving? Just wondering if this could be an eventual problem on all percussion revolvers or is the...
