    Lets see some percussion revolvers!

Thanks for the heads up, I will keep an eye on it. I don't get to shoot much so it shouldn't be an issue. I am new to percussion revolvers and don't know much about them. How does this revolver differ from a normal percussion revolver, outside of the obvious fact that the only way to reload...

    Pennsylvania flintlock season soon!

I feel for ya, that’s why they call it hunting and not killing. Terrible feeling to know you’ve injured a deer, been there before. We’ve had a doe with a bum leg around where I hunt for a couple of seasons. She seems to make it just fine dealing with all the coyotes. You did the right thing...

    WANTED 1860 Army

Thanks for the clarification. I’m new here but have bought and sold many firearms on other sites and this seemed odd to me.

Mavi was the name of the company that eventually became Investarms. I picked up a 45 cal version of that same rifle last year for $75. As long as the bore is good, buy it. If I remember correctly, mine didn’t have the ultra hi on it. A company called Sile imported them and distributed them.

Percussion caps and powders out of stock

It's just crazy times right now. I was telling everybody at work to stock up while they can over the summer and didn't even think about my BP supplies. I read a post on another site a few weeks back that I frequent about BP supplies dwindling and I couldn't believe it. I am stocked fairly...

On another thread, someone mentioned Wholesale Hunter having some available.

    It Finally Happened

In Missouri they now call our season the Alternative Season. You can use BP, pistols(which includes AR pistols), Atlatl's. Basically you can use anything but a centerfire rifle or rimfire firearm.

Percussion caps and powders out of stock

@flinter1977 thank you. They were a little loose when I put one on the other night. I may have to go buy more #11’s on the way home tonight.

Percussion caps and powders out of stock

I just recently purchased an Uberti 1873 Cattleman Black Powder pistol. I have one tin of #10 caps and am wanting to know if I can use #11 Winchester Magnum caps instead with out any issues.

    Hello from Missouri

The ramrod is not the correct one for this rifle. I'm not too worried about it right now, but I will change it out to the right length before I take it out and hunt with it. For the price I got it for, I wasn't really worried about it. I couldn't pass it up for $143 OTD. I bought a CVA...

Percussion caps and powders out of stock

I just picked up 5 packs of the Winchester Magnum BP #11 the other day. I actually left 5 packs on the shelf because I didn’t want to take all they had.

    Hello from Missouri

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am an avid lever action fanatic and have recently turned my sights towards muzzleloaders. I am hoping to learn more. I started with an inline and have recently purchased several percussion muzzleloaders and thinking about purchasing a flintlock eventually...
