    FOR SALE Blunderbuss

I bought this as a semi finished piece. It needed a lot TLC to make it presentable. I believe this was a Pecatonia parts set. Stocked in American walnut. Aged, with dents, scratches and dings. It has a couple of slight repairs, one to fix an incorrect sideplate, and an ill fitting pin hole( not...

Fusil de chass. 62 cal ?

Volumes have been written about the virtues of India guns. So close ,but so far away to the trained eye. I'll be polite and sy the same for the Milita House arms. They lack in many respects. If you desire authenticity, you get what you pay for. Cheap or authentic, pick one. You can't have...

I used to do it a bit, it just made loading a patched easier. I still have one that's coned. It always shot well, and I can stuff any ball and patch combo if need be. Anymore, if I can't start it with my thumb, it's too tight. Smootbores are very forgiving.

    Who Used Fowlers?

Actually I missed the SC part somehow. Things moved around more than people know. France had its interests all over. Not uncommon to see enemy weapons in the king's stores. On both sides. That being said,I cannot recall an abundance of English arm in the militia related items of new France...

    Who Used Fowlers?

Fortress Louisbourg was sieged and defeated twice in the e 1700s. From the colonies along the coast. I believe, as others. These arms made thier way into the new England colonies. Along with their Influence of arms being produced in later years
