Convert Breech Loader to Muzzleloader - Allowed?

With something like this regularly popping up as an add on the site, I figure it was worth an ask.

Convert Breech Loader to Muzzleloader - Allowed?

I could understand an argument that a link would violate the pre-1865 rule (though I don't necessarily agree), but don't think it would violate the ignition rule. This is one of those "I'm not entirely sure, so I'm asking" things.

Convert Breech Loader to Muzzleloader - Allowed?

Well, I could use it with my sidelock, breech loading coach gun. I understand the spirit of the forum, and since this item I found seems like a bit of a gray area, I figured I'd ask before posting the link.

Convert Breech Loader to Muzzleloader - Allowed?

Found an item that converts a breech loading shotgun into a muzzleloading one. Don't want to get my hand slapped by the admins, so I figured I'd ask if I can post the link before I actually did.

    Naming your guns?

I have one rifle (that cannot be discussed in detail due to the manner in which it's loaded) that my ex-wife referred to as "the other woman".

My new leadslinger should be here today - Party like it's 1777

I always figured "smooth rifle" was comparable to referring to a magazine as a clip.

Sometimes translating from one language to another does get a little weird sometimes. That's why in Afghanistan, we called them "interpreters" and not "translators"

The over-spec ones I listed should suffice until I can look into prescription ones.

My needs may be met (flint/smooth + percussion/rifling), but my wants certainly are not :p

A Brown Bess was my first choice, this one was a very close second. I also have an 1863 Zouave so the bulk of my muzzle loading long gun needs are met.

Eye protection for someone with glasses

Next time I go to the eye doc, I plan to bring that up. I haven't been shooting in years and I'm just starting to restock on the stuff I need to get back into it.

vintage looking? I've honestly never categorized them as modern or vintage, so I'm having trouble with the mental image. I managed to find these on MidwayUSA and think they'll suit me just fine. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018458347?pid=472949

Lyman Big Dipper Furnace - Question

This seems like a more practical option for me at the time being. I even have a 1.4 kw/hr battery that I could use if I really had to but I think this will be sufficient for low volume casting.

Lyman Big Dipper Furnace - Question

It's definitely plausible. Unfortunately that draws a bit too much power. I have an 850W furnace for melting silver and that will trip breakers if I even look at it cross-eyed. I've seen some 500W solutions that are much more doable. That looks like it'll be the route I'll have to take for now...
