    My 50 Cal Lyman deer stalker flintlock rifle seems to have an issue. The frizzen is rubbing against the barrell when I pull it down. Is this normal? The barrell is getting a nice score in it.

    Loading issues

    In between each shot I use a patch coated in Windex to clean the bore. My Barrel runs better groups with a clean bore.

    I have a question for you all. I took my 3 week old Lyman Deerstalker out into the rain for a hunt, When I returned I noticed the stock had swelled and cracked in certain areas. I brought it back and got a new one but my question is; is there something I can use to coat the wood to prevent this...
