Suggested starting load for .32 cal, plus powder measure rec...

I started with 20 grs in my Pedersoli .32 cal. At 30 yds I can put 5 rounds touching in a 1 inch bullseye. Never tried a different load since 20 grs worked right off the bat.

2020 How does your garden grow

Just replanted complete garden today. Little hiccup in bug spray issue. Seems I didn't get my sprayer cleaned out good enough and it had a weed killer residue still in it. Killed everything in the garden. Will be buying a new sprayer just for bug killer.

    What I do during "Lockdown".

Finally got a clear calm day last Friday to take my newly built .32 cal. Pedersoli to the range. Very impressed with it's performance right off the bat. 1st round at 50 yds was 2 1/2" high and 1/2" right. Next shot was right beside it. Rear sight was down on the barrel so I couldn't drop it...

We had a cruise-in planned for this evening but Mother Nature rained on our parade. We moved it to tomorrow afternoon. We will be social distancing in our cars.

    What I do during "Lockdown".

Well our governor just give us another 30 days of lockdown. Like that's going to work. Things are getting mighty uneasy in the great state of Illinois. Only thing keeping me home is the fact that all the places I usually go are closed.

    What I do during "Lockdown".

Received the Lee double cavity .311 mold that Cobra led me to on EBay. Sat down and ran just over 400 round balls this afternoon. Only had 2 out of the run that weren't up to par. I now have a round ball mold for every caliber muzzle loader that I own.

    What I do during "Lockdown".

Not necessarily but most of my molds are Lyman and I like them. I have a couple of Lees and they work good. Just harder to maintain temperature. Will buy a Lee if I have to. I have about 150 round balls left before I need a mold. Just cleaned and poured 50 lbs of lead into ingots yesterday so...

    What I do during "Lockdown".

Friend of mine that's a plumber just gave me about 30 lbs of lead drain pipe today. Got it all cut up into small sections and I am in the process of cleaning it as best as I can. Outside was easy with a wire wheel but inside is a little different. Right now some of it is in my brass tumbler. We...

    What I do during "Lockdown".

So yesterday my wife decided to disassemble, clean, and paint our dining room. Since I hate anything to do with painting I planted myself at my gun bench and preceded to clean all of my black powder firearms. Took the better part of the day but I serviced 7 long guns (3 flints and 4 cap and...

    SOLD Thompson Center .54 Renegade

Go to a bow shop and get a lighted arrow knock. Just turn it on and drop it down the barrel. Usually they are green or red but either shows the bore really well.

Amazing what a guy will do when he stays around the house. I guess I could pour some lead. Got molds for everything I shoot except the .32. Still looking for a Lyman .310 round ball mold. Need to stay looking busy or the wife will find something for me to do.

    GAME WARDENS

Had a lot of interactions with game wardens over the years and all were good except one. But forget that one. After a successful pheasant hunt once with 5 other friends we were checked as we were loading up in the trucks. Nice guys and after they checked our birds they began checking our guns...
