    If there is one there is probably more, I generally don’t look for cva guns so I’m not an expert. I’ll be keeping an eye out for them going forward.

    It has a 15/16 50 cal barrel and it’s currently being fitted for a 54 cal barrel. So the barrel is not pictured. I’m planning on blackening the brass as well. It’s actually a decently fitted gun for a cva. After I get it the way I like it, I hope it will be a nice rifle.

    This is a hunter grade gun, not perfect but not bad. I shot it today 25 times and it likes a .490 ball with 70gr 3f. I’m only asking what I have in it. 350.00 plus shipping. This rifle deserves to be in the woods.

    Any oil works well, I like mineral oil for no special reason. Don’t over complicate this. Just clean, dry and oil and you will be fine. Andy

    Schuetzen vs Goex

    I like schuetzen and especially Swiss, that being said I believe having a in country source is very important. One bad turn of events and we could lose the ability to import black powder. When/if Goex gets back into production I plan on giving them a fair minded shot. Hopefully you do as well...
