This is a hunter grade gun, not perfect but not bad. I shot it today 25 times and it likes a .490 ball with 70gr 3f. I’m only asking what I have in it. 350.00 plus shipping. This rifle deserves to be in the woods.

Looks like that is the original ramrod tip. I have two of these US made. One factory made but never fired, the other a kit, my first, with over 70 pounds of Goex through it. Last time I benched it, it grouped a hair under 2" at 50y using the same load the OP mentioned and my 70+yo eyes. Mine shoots to same point of impact and group size with 80g 2f Goex. Great shooters for the money. I'd buy this if I did not already have (bought over 30 years ago) that unfired capital spare, bought to make sure I had a backup when I finally shot out the kit barrel. Over 7000 rounds through it now. Group is twice as big as it used to be 45 years ago, but doubt that is due to the gun. ;)

I have a couple much more expensive custom guns, but my CVA MR will absolutely be my first choice for deer hunts in the future, as it has been in the past. This one should not last long. That is a fair price for a nice looking rifle.

Any pics of the bore?

Bore pictures. It feels great when patching.

Ignored members messages don’t get sent, that’s the point. Hopefully more members after reading this will also consider using the feature.
