    Epoxy Can Be Cured

Are you planning on doing the work or sending it out? If doing it yourself, why not give it a try.

Honking Big Bill Mowrey Benchrest Rifle

Any idea of when he made it? Now you need a scope.

need help with 44 cal muzzleloaded pistol loading

It's possible that Cabelas won't take your powder back even though you bought it on their recommendation. If so, the RS will work, just not as well.

    1860 Pietta Army help

Use a piece of hardwood or brass as a punch and tap on the spring. I'm thinking of modifying mine to ease removal and installation.

    Vest pocket pistol

I sure wouldn't want to be in front of it. That's really pretty good accuracy I think.

    Help identifying old pistol

Please do not attempt to shoot this.

    Vest pocket pistol

I think you could load it with powder, wad, and a bare ball. It won't have much long distance accuracy anyhow so why patch it? A fun gun for sure.

Hey everyone/unsure about some small cannons I got from my step father. Any help?

Some of these do not appear to have flash holes. I would make sure they are not pot metal castings before trying to fire anything in them.

    Webley Bentley percussion revolver.

Wow! That is a nice one. Do you plan to shoot it? I had to look this up and learned a lot about Webley history.

    is this broken or normal?

At half **** the cylinder should turn in the direction you were spinning but not in reverse. It should not turn with the hammer all the way down or at full ****.

1864 production Remington 1858 New Army- how to remove nipples?

I got a set of these from Home Depot. They have grooves for holding round stuff and they work well for lots of projects. They will hold your cylinder plenty tight without damaging it.

New Uberti 1858- cylinder/hand issue on half the chambers.

You did good by thinking before leaping. Most projects of any kind will benefit from some consideration of alternatives. Don't just grab the hammer, grinder, or saw and jump in. It only took me 77 years to figure this out.

brand new 1851 navy snubnose wedge causing cylinder jam

My wedge was also a problem. Check out this Pietta tuning pdf. Scroll down to page 15 to see how to fix it. It worked for me. I had to beat hard to get the wedge out the first time. I take it in and out with just screwdriver taps now.

    Pyrodex in a hand gonne?

Pyrodex works fine when lit with a fuse. No black starter charge needed.

IS THIS A SAFE SHOOTING BARREL?

The guy who built that very nice rifle would not have skimped on the barrel. I would definitely shoot it.

NEW Midway Pietta 1860 in Army Question

I just take the wedge out and set it on the bench while I'm cleaning. Just like the wedges on my hook breech rifles. No problem.

Off hand rifle shooting by H M Pope. He was famous for a reason. It's a PDF file.
