    Thanks!!!! i thought the Italian barrels came somewhat later in the 80's...if there are no Italian proof marks on the barrel, can i assume its american made????? thanks again...never thought about taking the darn thing apart..

    hi out there....i purchased a hatfield 45 cal flintlock in the late 70's....trying to locate serial number, since i'm finally cataloging my collection...am i a total loser or what-can't find one...lock is case color case hardened with "hatfield" "warranted"...double set triggers...full curly...
