    Plains rifle ?

Stopped at a local pawnshop and they have a Lyman .45 plains rifle with asking price of $400 . They normally have high prices on all their guns but do seem to deal if you have cash. Rifle is in good condition with a clean looking bore . What would you offer ? FBC

    Homemade powder test

So I shot my .50 renegade and reloaded it with my homemade powder. I swabbed the bore out when I got home . 13 days later I fired the rifle . I could see no rust anywhere and got instant Ignition. I’ve shot a deer and coyote with my powder. I’m calling my homemade powder a success. FBC

    Pawnshop Renegade

Its the aluminum tape like heating and cooling ductwork has on it to seal small holes or joints . in the military we called it 1000 mph tape.

I shot the minies from another .50 hawken when I first got the mold and it was a shotgun pattern . I added the aluminum tape and it grouped great . FBC

Picked this up at a gun show today for $35 . Seems pretty well made but has no writing on it . A .440 round ball drops a couple inches down the barrel and stops . Any info on this would be great . Thanks. FBC
