I lined them with PVC sewer pipe 4". I had to cut a piece out so it would fit. I covered the bottom and lid also with sheet metal. I also glued 4 strips inside the sewer pipe to interrupt the smoothness of the pipe. I now have been able to cut off 4 hours of milling time and get the same results.

Ballistiol and water 4-1 works for me and never have rust. Of course I live in a dry climate so rust usually isn't a problem anyway. I use that same thing for patch lube when on the range and never wipe/clean between shots. I have shot as many as 75-80 shots this way.

I have been making my own BP for quite a while and it works as well as GOEX. If you do it right it is safe and it cost me about $5-$6 per pound. I can tell no difference in accuracy between my BP and any commercial BP I have tried.

I'm in Centerville Utah. I have been to the Turkey Shoot at Ft Buenaventura and won a turkey last year and am planning on going to the one this year also. I have not been to a Buckskinner Day but have been thinking about going. How was it for the first time?

Shot the October Postal Match shoot. Didn't do very well but had fun with some good friends. Need to keep working on offhand shooting.

I watched the video yesterday and WOW. Jim is amazing what he is doing. I finished my Colonial 50 Cal about 3 months ago and couldn't be happier with it. Going to order another ???? but can't decide which one.

While I did have fun shooting this I was by myself so not nearly as good a time as with others.

Well this is a pretty crappy. I'm still trying to work up a best load for my Kimber Colonial, but I can't blame this target on that. I'm just pretty wobbly off-hand shooting. Need to keep working at it to improve. It was fun to shoot it though.

Saturday 9/24 went to the Tooele Utah Mountain Man Rendezvous and shot for a while but had to leave before finishing. Today 9/28 received my new Lee .500 round ball mold and cast 230 .500 balls and 133 .490 balls.
