I used Tritium archery sight pins. I can't find them, so I will get some 1.5mm x 6mm vials, and make some new ones....someday!

I make them as I need them, just for my personal use. Just sharing ideas.

If you use the post, you can have a regular rear sight and use the peep. Low light you remove the peep insert and use the rear as a "ghost ring" . [While viewing the rear sight.] The ghost ring may improve the sight picture. Options, I like options!

Thanks for the update, sound like he had some great memories. The video footage that I have seen of unit 76, you need a hollow rock to hide in. The elk were out in the open with no cover or way to approach.

Was it your brother that was hunting unit 76? How did his hunt go?

Good fabric, been using it a long time.

1-3 Water soluble oil [1 part] to 3 parts Dawn] dish soap. Mix it together and it makes a waxy grease, apply with finger. I used Rustlick WS-11 oil from NAPA. Dawn it the Platinum Ultra. I have used it or a version on 60 or more shots with my home made slugs with no leading. It works for bullet...
