    what about these spitfire nipples or other "hot" nipples. i am just looking for whatever nipple will give me the best ignition under the extreme cold weather i am going to put the gun through. if i file the lyman nipple and it will give me good ignition during the january muzzleloader season...

    well i have been watching a renegade on gunbroker for 250 starting bid. it has been up for auction for over a month and nobody has bid on it. the seller has an A+ rating. is this a good price for a used renegade .54 left hand???

    going to bismarck sunday to get all the black powder supplies for the rifle. i was wondering what is the the best charge to start out with in goex 2F and how high of a charge can i load? also what size ball and patch should i start with?????

    yea i can get pyrodex at scheels in bismark, nd which is only 80 miles but i would like the real deal.I just cant see paying over 40 dollars for 1lb of goex. but might have to just to try it then order 25 lbs.
