HA! Been looking for a year, lucky me, one came with the trade fowler, yep, that's what I'm going to call it, trade fowler.

I going to talk to them about setting up a trade blanket, zhave a few things to pass on.

Also came with bag mould, nice mainspring vise, lead ladle and a bunch of shot, balls, patching and a horn!

Took a few shots,very quick lock, nice and sparky Looks like it has been in a corner for a bit, it should clean up nice. it is a nice one, but still not the FDC I'm looking for, just might keep it tho. Few more

Yep, kinda a head scratcher. Supposedly built by "Doc" White. Now I did learn, in the 1975 GRRW catalog, they sold a half stock fowler, and a trade gun...I have read that Mr White would build odd things just to do it. I will start a new thread on it in the next day or so, with pics.

I am reading this thread, I turn my head to the right, and this is my view, 2 feet away.

I ordered one 2 yrs ago for a project, stuck it somewhere out of my way at the time. Found it this last sunday...just could not buy another knowing it was somewhere. Long since steel wooled the project to get it done. Looking forward to using it now.

I will jump in with the Pedersoli Kentucky suggestion. Picked a used one last summer. Freaky accurate. They can be had cheep too, paid $450 for it. You do need to pay attention to the patented breech, or whatever Pedersoli calls it.
