    Casting Minie’s Help Needed

I put my moulds on the edge of my Lee pot, while it is heating. Those Minis have symptoms of cold mould and/or slow pour. I have also drilled out the spout but so long ago I can’t tell you what drill size I used.

    Help Again Please

Thanks, I noticed that. (RevolBer) He isn't responding to emails at the moment, but is, as you say, forty minutes away. Soon as the restrictions ease I'll take my wife for a "nice drive in the contry dear";);) Plan is to check the cylinder timing, if that seems ok anything else is easily remedied.

    What did you do today

With, hopefully, some light at the and of a long tunnel, my Ranges will be opening in a few weeks. That means I can look forward to getting my hands on a brace of .36 revolvers I have been waiting over six months for. So today I cast two hundred .375 balls. The excitement mounts🥳🥳🥳

    Ruger Old Army malfunction

My choice with each of my two ROA as they are stainless, is to take off the grips, dismantle to main parts. Then I remove the nipples and put them in a small net bag. The lot then goes into the dishwasher. Remove when still hot, dry, oil, stow until the next fun day. Many, if not most...

Rag and bowl man, interesting,we call them rag and bone men here in the Eastern side of the pond. Man with horse and cart used to collect old clothes for re-selling or making into paper and bones to sell on for making glue. Kids used to take stuff out to him and get a baloon.
