    Beautiful job you did on that gun, my woodsrunner is my first black powder. Fired it maybe 30 times at a club event so far, and it is blast!! Just remember powder-patch-ball as it won't work any other way (as I found out the hard way) hi 😀

    On mine I trimmed a little wood, as it was rubbing a tiny bit, enough to feel a resistance.

    As a last resort you might get it to rotate with a small hammer and chisel by tapping the corner of the square nut....

    I think it has beautiful lines, the way the stock curves from the forestock to the butt complimented by the curved cheek piece.

    I wasn't going to do the fancy maple, but one came along with a birthmark and a big discount and I thought "why not " just buy it and get walnut next time. Not sorry!

    True that, but you don't put in the weeks or days of perfecting and finishing ikea- plus it got me, a newbie into the hobby (and all the history that goes along with it)
